Lac Simoné is located in the Indre region, in the department 36, at the exit of the small village of Beaulieu.
It covers an area of 7.5 hectares of water on 11 hectares of land. Depths vary from 1 to 4 meters. It consists of sandy, sandy/rocky, and muddy zones. There are 10 submerged stone walls of 2 m³ each, as well as some submerged trees. On the left side of the "Chez Pierre" swim, these tree trunks date back to the time of the lake's construction, when the location was still a large forest.
There are 2 islands delineating the 3 different fishing swims.
Only 3 fishing swims have been created, with each angler or group of 2 people having 2.5 hectares to develop their strategy. We did not want to create more fishing swims like in some waters where anglers are squeezed every 100 meters "for economic reasons". This does not fit the spirit of New Heaven Carp Camp. The lake is managed by Simoné, an experienced Austrian carp angler who has been practicing this sport for 27 years. She was sponsored by the brand Aquatic Baits and has participated in championships, even at the European level. The other manager is Ness, a French carp angler with over 30 years of experience, who took his first steps in the Cher region in the early 90s
We live all year round by our lake, so you will be welcomed by real passionate carp anglers with a wealth of experience.
The lake is located in a nature reserve surrounded by forests and meadows. There is only one access road and no form of nuisance such as roads, railways, or power lines nearby. The keywords here are peace, tranquility, relaxation.
We have a friendly collaboration with Korda, which allows us to offer some of their products for sale in a tackle shop at the reception. You will find, among other things, their full range of barbless hooks in case you forgot yours or misread our rules. We also distribute boilies and related products from Mainline."
THE LAKE HAS SANITARY FACILITIES, SHOWERS, TOILETS, AND SINKS.
As for your potential shopping needs, St Benoît du Sault, considered one of the most beautiful villages in France, offers all amenities just 10 km away (gas station, supermarket, tobacconist, post office, etc.). If you just want to get your bread, the bakery of Chaillac is only 5 km away and is excellent. We recommend their incredible millefeuille!
