The Swims
3 swims of your choice at Lac Simoné, all spacious and double.
The swims "The Pines," "Chez Pierre," and the "VIP" swim. All of them offer an area of 2.5 hectares of water for the anglers.
All swims are equipped with a campfire (see photos), and the wood will be provided for you. We invite you to carefully review our regulations regarding these swims...
Swim "The Pines" can be fished from 2 different locations, meaning this swim offers 2 additional fishing swims.
THE PINES
This spacious swim owes its name to the pine trees that will protect your camp. On the left side is a large bay of 1 hectare with a water inlet and a gently sloping sandy bottom that gradually descends towards the outlet. Then, the bottom characteristics change with various rocky pits towards the island on your right side. Submerged walls, submerged trees that you should be able to find, and then it quickly goes to a depth of 3.5 m in the bend.
Across from you are willows rooted in the water where carp like to hide. This is a technical fishing spot where the use of a boat is especially necessary if a carp starts on your right rod and decides to circle the island. It's not easy to stop the run of a 30 kg carp. So, knowing how to fish with a "tight drag" to gain a few seconds to jump into your boat is a good idea in your interest and that of the fish.
This swim can be fished from the opposite bank, which offers the opportunity to fish the deep zone on your left side and both sides of the island. Carp like to circle around this island because they find a depth of 1.2 m on one side and double on the other.
CHEZ PIERRE & JUSTIN
Named after our friend and neighbour, Mr. Pierre Roullet, a farmer and cattle breeder who owns the pastures behind you on this swim. Pierre and his son Justin lovingly and passionately breed their 400 cows in a natural way. The meat we serve comes directly from these animals, nothing more and nothing less. We are proud to serve a delicious piece of beef and can say "look there in the pasture, that was the mother of one of these cows", no other private lake offers such proximity or traceability.
The swim overlooks the mobile home where we live and is bordered by the two islands on the right and left sides. This swim has the particularity that the deep part (about 4 m) is at your feet and not "at the end of the rod" across the bank. For you, there are three submerged walls and the bottom gradually rises to a deep plateau of 1 m/1.2 m located approximately between the two islands.
On your left side, in the deep part, there are submerged tree stumps and remnants of the oak forest that once stood in this place. Carp find many crayfish there and love this spot. So do we!

Our favorite swim!
A swim with the reserve on your right side, an island on your left side, the deep in front of you with more than 4 m of water, the outlet (always a productive spot), submerged walls, submerged tree stumps, hard bottoms, and soft bottoms. The swim where we see the most activity every day, simply because carp love this place.
Not a single day goes by without us seeing jumping or feeding carp. A perfect fishing area, a bit technical for sure, but for those hoping to catch carp of over 34 kg in an empty bathtub, sorry, you're in the wrong place lol! Here, the fish must be earned, and you must be ready to jump to your rod and into your boat, especially if a big lady decides to swim around the island on your left side!
